National Estate Planning Awareness Week
Drive more planned gifts during National Estate Planning Awareness Week
Most people put off making their estate plan until much later in life. Nearly 67% of Americans still don’t have an up-to-date will. National Estate Planning Awareness Week, or NEPAW, is an awareness week founded by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils in 2008. It’s meant to help people understand what estate planning is and why it’s so important. In 2024, it will take place the week of October 21-27. Its goal is to raise awareness about the importance of estate planning and add urgency for people to get their wills done.
Helping your supporters create their wills is not only kind, but presents you with your last big opportunity of the year to promote legacy giving before donor attention shifts to families, holidays, and end-of-year giving.
Download the donor email templates via the form on this page to help your team secure more of these gifts during NEPAW.
